A tray that grows towards you for Eco Greens

Eco Greens home page after the 2026 redesign

Eco Greens sells grow kits for microgreens from Norwich. Its shop did the job. The words and photos were good. It ran on a premium theme from 2019 with two sliders and a page builder. WordPress itself was three years behind.

After. The home page opens on a tray of six kits.

Six kits in one tray

Eco Greens sells six single-variety kits. Broccoli, kale, mizuna, mustard, radish and red amaranth. The home page puts all six in one grow tray, drawn in code, with a band for each. Broccoli has pale stems and round green leaves. Radish has pink stems. Red amaranth is plum from root to tip. A plant marker in front of each band links straight to that kit.

The pointer is the sun

When the page loads, seeds sit on the soil. Shoots push up in a wave from left to right and open their leaves, which are drawn from the leaf in the Eco Greens logo. Move the pointer and a small sun follows it. Every shoot leans towards the light a moment behind, the way plants turn on a windowsill.

Visitors who prefer less movement see the tray fully grown and still.

A shop that is easy to buy from

Every kit has a card with its price and an Add to basket button. The count in the header changes as you add one. The mixed kit lets you pick your seeds with buttons in each variety’s colour. The basket and checkout are styled to match and work well on a phone.

Brought up to date

WordPress and WooCommerce were updated and tested before the switch. The old sliders and page builder were switched off. Posts built with the builder read cleanly without it. The privacy policy was brought up to date too, with the old host and partners taken out.
