Mad Beans Game Studios makes indie games in Norwich. Over the last few weeks its corner of the web grew from one site to four, one for the studio and one for each game.

The studio site
madbeansgames.com shares its Norwich skyline and windmill with this site. In version 2 the sky above them is live. The sun rises and sets with the real Norwich clock, the moon comes out at night and rain, snow, fog and storms arrive with the actual forecast.
There are proper project pages for each game, pages for the team, light and dark mode and a hidden arcade that only loads when someone presses Play.
Barrowfall
A dark fantasy horde-defence RPG deserves a darker site. bf.madbeansgames.com is plain files on a server, with scripts that pull fresh screenshots from the game, publish builds and keep the devlog current.

Star Civilizations
Two games share one story. sc.madbeansgames.com introduces the colony builder and the idle edition, with every image built from the game’s own art by a script.

BoxManager
The veteran of the family. BoxManager has run in the browser since 2016 and more than 4,000 players have signed up to build a stable of boxers.
Why separate sites?
Each game has its own mood, audience and release schedule. A site of its own lets Barrowfall feel grim, Star Civilizations feel vast and BoxManager feel like fight night. The studio site ties them together.
